Organizations that need to reach out to their constituents and decision-makers have a variety of Orchid tools available to them including the ability to state positions on key issues, to create and send action alerts and to send out email blasts that measure bounce, open and click rates. Currently, Orchid is integrating with The Soft Edge, a vendor that manages a full service database of decision-makers.
Membership
Orchid has built significant membership capabilities that serve basic membership management needs. Included is the ability for members to manage their profile, select interests and membership options, view members only content and pay on a recurring basis. Orchid also integrates with a dedicated AMS offered by Members Only Software.
Our joint product offering is called OSMOSys and is ideally suited for a members focused organization that needs an interactive web presence.
Commerce
Orchid's commerce capabilities extend from a full store to basic payment processing. In all cases, in order to enable to capability organizations must have a merchant account. Orchid is currently in the process of integrating with Quickbooks.
Interactive Communications
Orchid has built several tools that enable interactivity including surveys, forums, blogs and forms. In addition, Orchid's Communication module comes with the ability to send email blasts to mailing lists created from data uploaded to the site, and then to review the bounces, opens and clicks from those blasts. Events/Conventions
Beyond basic calendar listing or calendar view tools, Orchid offers a full convention module. This capability gives organizations with an annual conference the option to create a dedicated space for the conference including the option to present multiple tracks, registration types and early bird registration.
